    Kerrie Davies

    Registered Care Home Manager, Ashville

As a Registered Care Home Manager and qualified Mental Health Nurse, having qualified in 2003, I bring a wealth of experience from working across a variety of care settings throughout England and Wales. My career has been built on a genuine passion for supporting people to live fulfilling lives, maintain their independence, and receive the quality, compassionate care they deserve. I am also trained in phlebotomy, which has further supported my experience in care.

Throughout my career, I have supported care homes in achieving positive Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) reports, recognising that high-quality care is achieved through strong leadership, teamwork, and a shared commitment to the people we support.

My approach to care is rooted in creating a warm, welcoming, and family-focused environment where every individual feels valued, respected, and truly at home. I believe that the best care comes from understanding each person’s unique needs, listening to their wishes, and building meaningful relationships with their loved ones.

I am passionate about developing and supporting care teams, encouraging collaboration, and helping staff understand the important role they play in making a positive difference every day. By working together with individuals, their families, and the wider team, I believe we can create a home where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to live life as independently as possible.

For me, care is about more than meeting needs; it is about creating a genuine sense of belonging, preserving dignity, and making every person feel that they are part of a family.
